Most law firms have a standard set of sub-folders that are required to be manually created for every new matter. Dropbox should have the ability to create a template that auto-generates the named sub-folders.
We have tried to streamline how we are using Dropbox by creating a template project folder that we copy and paste to a new location. When we do this the descriptions/overview that makes the project a space is not copied over. It would be great if dropbox has the functionality to create a folder from a template which included descriptions.
It would be great if I could create a template of folders in a client's account. For instance, each client needs the same five subfolders in their folder. So, under the client's folder, I'd like to automate the creation of those folders. When I new client folder is added, they would automatically have 5 subfolders created, already named appropriately.
We create nearly identical file directories for all of our clients to access content we create for them. I would LOVE a feature that automatically populates a folder with sub-folders of our creation - this would save us a TON of time in the long run. i.e. create a folder for a property we photograph ( 123mainst ) which is automatically populated with " photos, videos, floorplans " - each a different sub-category for what we end up delivering. I would think this could have broad applications across many industries.
