For example, are you referring to sorting on a particular platform (website, desktop app, mobile app)?

Thanks for the follow-up! I'm speaking specifically about iOS in my case. Folders that have both files and more folders within them sort the files first and then the folders. If you have a lot of files, this puts the folders way at the bottom. It would be amazing and time-saving if we could have nested folders sort first above the files.

I hope this makes it more clear. My apologies if I'm explaining incorrectly.

I agree 100%. I have no idea why this has not been more of a priority. Anyone who works with files and folders would want this. This should have been a default setting by nature on any platform.
