Admin-only account for billing and membership management

It would be great if, as the account admin, who only needs to access the account for billing and membership maintenance, to have a default unpaid seat. It would just be limited to basic account management. Maybe with an option for regular licensed access for those who need it.

We're just rolling out a Billing admin role, following on from that, over the coming weeks, you will see a number of other dedicated admin roles appear in the Admin Console!

Our accounting team does not need to use Dropbox for any reason except to pull invoices and receipts. It would be a waste of a license if we assign them a license, to only log in once a year to pull invoices & receipts.

We find that in order to administer our Dropbox team account, all the admin users including user administrators and billing adminstrators must be Dropbox license holders. These users in our organizations do not need to use Dropbox file share service. They only need to be able to administer the team account. It would be great if you could provide free admin accounts to your business accounts. Thanks!

I still don't see if this new Admin role consumes a license or not -- either in these replies, or in the "Change admin rights for your Dropbox Business team" help article: https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/admin/change-admin-rights .

Can someone clarify this and explain how to create a "Team admin" or "User admin" that does not consume a license?

What is the current status of this feature request? I would like to add our accounts person as a billing admin without having to pay a user licence. They do not need to access dropbox features apart from billing information.
