An option to quickly archive/collapse completed To-Do items in Paper docs

An option to quickly archive/collapse completed To-Do items in Paper docs

Hope this is the best place to suggest, but for the To-Do's to be most useful we need a way to quickly archive completed items.

A right click or menu option to archive (not delete) once the box is ticked would be very useful.

Cheers!

Hey there @MattZedsen

Thank you for using Dropbox Paper and welcome to our Community.

This is indeed the right place for your Paper idea!

So happy to see new users writing about their needs. So just to make sure this is reported properly, my understanding is that you would like the to do's items to be removed automatically from the list and not just be erased (erased), when you check the to do's box. Correct?

Let us know how this helps with your workflow and any other feedback your might have for Dropbox Paper. :nerd:

Thanks in advance! Cheers.

Hi Fiona,

Thanks for getting back.

It would help my workflow as there would be less clutter on the screen if the completed actions disappeared and automatically populated an archive doc, or just moved to the very bottom of the list, or collapsed in-situ.

The reason for not deleting is that there would be no record of the original action.

Regards

Matt

Hi Fiona,

Please let me know if this suggestion is going to be put in a development backlog anytime soon? This kind of imporovement would make DB Paper a viable To-Do solution over other stand-alone solutions out there!

Thanks

I'd add the general ability to collapse items, nested to-dos, headers, etc.... would be welcome.
