MVH, you are wasting your time even thinking they will add it. It’s never going to happen. If you want a good site to share 360 photos with your customers. I would recommend www.momento360.com . So you can upload your photos to dropbox but if they need to preview the images you would upload them to the website I listed and they can view them there. It is free and a very easy site to navigate.
It’s frustrating isn’t it Dropbox are getting a bit dated by not having these current features (Facebook added 360 photos in 2017). That is funny that you suggest momento360. That’s what I have been using. It’s an okay platform and does the job. In my architecture firm we regularly send large batches of 360 degree photos in Dropbox file transfers to engineers, builder and suppliers to explaining the existing conditions on site. It does require that they install Insta360 software but for some who aren’t tech savvy that is pretty challenging. It would be great it they could receive a link and view the 360 image within a browsers. It would be a very worth while feature in my opinion. Thanks for the input Droner
We too have given up on Dropbox supporting this and have moved our workflows for showing conditions onsite. We're using Matterport now with a Theta Z1 and I think they support the Insta360 as well. A different cost structure for sure, but it's a lot more useful for architecture and design as it shows the context and relationships between multiple 360 shots, along with providing opportunities for markup and rough measurements.
