Thanks for the suggestions. I actually like Dropbox though. But now I've got another question for you, how do you collaborate with a customer. Not sure what you do, but I frequently share PDF attachments with customers that I like if they mark up in Dropbox with there revision requests. Do you have a recommendation for something that has PDF mark up tools along with ordinary commenting and notifying about document changes other than via email? I use Evernote a lot, but am looking for something even better.
I just added my name too! Two of my clients love DB so I am forced to use it on their files. It's hard to believe that such an basic function is not available!!
I am a historian-in-training and I use Dropbox Plus for my PhD dissertation documents. I was so sad to learn that I cannot easily rotate a picture within the Dropbox application (something you have to do all the time with archive docs). It would save me SO much time and effort if you added that feature!
I'm dumb struck that you guys think, download and use a third party app, to SIMPLY ROTATE a PDF is an acceptable customer service response. Needs more support? you guys are a complete joke, ill be recommending to my boss we switch to google drive, I'm sick of your product.
This feature request shouldn't require votes...especially dating back to 2019. I had to log in a second time and create a separate username just to up-vote this (and that's already a support barrier).
The ability to rotate documents in an app is basic functionality that's especially important in the wake of COVID and telework. Current functionality and lack of basic features will impact our decision to renew.
Please come up with a more feasible solution soon rather than waiting on votes or deferring people to downloading and utilizing third party apps.
Evernote seems to be the preference for people who want some conveniece, i would assume they are beginning to impact your market share. How can we support the following changes:
1- email directly to dropbox, not just the attachment but the entire email thread..
2- ability to rotate a photo, or document, often times a scanned document comes in upside down...
3- if there are 3rd party apps that work to do these things.. why keep them a secret.. please let us know...
