I can't help wondering about the limited options that Dropbox offers. For me, the free 5 Gb isn't enough, but the on the other hand, I don't need 2 Tb either, and 10 euros per month is out of the question for a service that is in the category of "nice to have". Dropbox would be my #1 choice, but the pricing just doesn't make any sense to me. So I mix Dropbox, Google Drive and iCloud...which is a bit cumbersome. Are you really not able to come up with a plan that costs 20-30 euros per year and offers 100-200 Gb disk space. I would subscribe right away, and so would many others.
@bbhutchin I totally agree. I had trouble forking up the $75 a month of unlimited for 3 users that I dont need, they do not have other options. It seems they don't really care and this interface/system is really archaic. I wish there were more options all the way around the web, especially for unlimited. I am considering leaving all together and sooner than later because it's so expensive.
So I know you can divide the sections with private access. Do you want to talk about joining mine? Email me [Removed as per Community Guidelines] Let me know if you've found a better option!
The jump from 2GB/0€ to 2TB/9.99€ is way too big. I'd be more than happy to pay something like 1.99€/month for 100GB for 5 devices. Personally I don't like the referrals and would prefer paying for the extra space but 9.99€/month is just too much.
Or something similar to e.g. iCloud storage:
50GB: 0.99€/month 200GB: 2.99€/month 2TB: 9.99€/month (this is already available on Dropbox too)
It feels like every day some form of this request is getting put forward by someone new... Would love to hear some input or updates from Dropbox about it. E.g. If it's something on their roadmap, if not why etc etc.
