Can we have different plans / price points / data combinations / plan sizes?

Can we have different plans / price points / data combinations / plan sizes?

Hi, I find limited in the choices of subscription plans. Basic/free and Pro/110$

I'd gladly pay something like 25$ a year for 50GB and a 2 users family plan.

Considering iCloud have a 12$ plan for 20 GB and 48$ for 200GB, that seems reasonable..

I was now going to suggest the same idea, I personally need 100GB to 250GB online storage and would prefer to stay with dropbox. So if the dropbox team and make additional smaller packages at lower price points , I  will gladly purchase a smaller plan

thanks

Naresh

I had asked the dropbox agent, the answer was

We do not have the option of lifetime storage as Dropbox is on an automatic renewal system. Only yearly or monthly billing cycles. Because Dropbox is an automatic recurring billing system there is not a way to opt out of automatic renewal. However, you can upgrade to a paid plan to pay either yearly or monthly and if you decide to cancel you'd then have until the end of the current billing cycle to use the space and features of your paid plan.

I have been suggested I leave Dropbox behind and move to https://koofr.eu/pricing/

The reason I am even considering doing this, is because I can access my dropbox files from this cloud service (and thus conserve the outgoing links from dropbox), and the subscription offers are exactly like we have been talking about for years here on this string.

I admit it makes me a little short of breath to have to start over, but since dropbox is not willing to play along, I really see no other options.

Dropbox should allow more combinations of storage plans

Dropbox must be loosing a gazillion clients to google due to a ridiculous minimum of 2TB!!  Really frustrating, i'd much rather give Dropbox my cash but why would i pay €12 a month to store my 100gb of data, leaving 1900 GB of paid for space doing nothing!?

This is definitely needed. I'd love to be able to use this to store encrypted files that have a mandatory retention period, and be able to make sure that the account is paid up for that entire time period, so there's no surprises when my client needs to access a file 3-4 years later, only to find out that he forgot to update his credit card when it got replaced, and all of his data got deleted!

It seems that the change of price from 2GB free to 2TB for $9.99/month is such an extraordinarily huge leap! If I offered these wide, unyielding gaps in prices in my business it wouldn't take long to see a huge loss of revenue as, even my repeat, customers would leave to use the more flexibly priced competition.

When I go to the store to buy a gallon of milk, they don't force me to buy 100 gallons or nothing. I don't need or want 2TB. 10 GB (0.01 TB) will do me for the next 10 years. I am intolerably offended by your marketing plan to force me to buy 200 times more storage than I need or want.

I've been a user of Dropbox for some years but as much as I'm happy, I have only used 9.35Gb (0.4%) of my Personal 2TB this past year and a similar amount in the past years. 2TB is way too much for me.
As I'm only a small consumer of Dropbox data, are there any options to perhaps access a smaller plan of say 1TB or even half of that.
The cost of unused data has become too expensive.
I look forward to your response. Tim Redward [email address removed per the Dropbox Community Guidelines]
