Can we have different plans / price points / data combinations / plan sizes?

Can we have different plans / price points / data combinations / plan sizes?

Hi, I find limited in the choices of subscription plans. Basic/free and Pro/110$

I'd gladly pay something like 25$ a year for 50GB and a 2 users family plan.

Considering iCloud have a 12$ plan for 20 GB and 48$ for 200GB, that seems reasonable..

Are your company planning for small storage like 50 GB 100 Gb 200 go 400 go 500 gb 1 t and so on like google drive has so that we can buy and upgrade in future as necessary?

First of all as a dropbox user, i would like to highlight here that if people are tend to get a flavour of the digital storage of their personal needed files, it would be more helpful and then regarding the tariffs, only when they start to store more they might need higher spaces such as 2TB for a basic plan but a more customisable plan that is tailored accordingly by the user will be more helpful for you to build your retail customer base and then thereby creating a trust, reliable storage provider in the mind of customer thereby making them to allow to use storage online itself

I am puzzled by the fact that an excellent idea started in 2014 hasn't been implemented even in 2020 despite the huge ask from customers. I also sponsor this idea and I hope to have it implemented soon. Keep voting it, people!

I am amazed people are still wasteing time replying. No response from them in years but I am glad I got notified of this thread I can click not to get any more notifications. DB don't care and most of us have moved on... DB is ancient history to me and Google Drive is king.

I am just following up on my much earlier suggestion for Dropbox to offer a subscription plan for lower than 1TB. How about 300 GB? It would be more affordable so I'm sure more people would subscribe. Do let me know if such is already available. Thanks.

Any update re our request for 200-300GB? Do we have anything to hope for from Dropbox? It has been 14 months since I posted my request.

I have been working for a long time with cloud storage solutions. For dynamic data, in my opinion dropbox is the best, but I just can't understand why you try to force people to upgrade from 2GB to a US120  2Tera plan WHY?. What do you guys have in mind with this policy? Why don't create a 1Tera plan with the same features of 2gb plan until today? Many people need only 1Tera or can't afford pay us120 / year, its expensive. People have the same complain but you guys insist in this basic mistake.

In my opinion this is a very bad practice that even harms the name of the company. Promotions that get lost fast, 500K referrals? Lets talk seriously here, is this a joke? Can't you see that without a 1Tera plan you lose customers to other platforms and people will use Dropbox for free forever? I need just 1Tera and I will not pay Us120 for 2Tera, that’s it. I'm sorry but for me, this policy is stupid and make you lose money and I hope dropbox wake up for new reality and create an intermediate plan.

These people don't care about my opinion, or yours. It just distracts us with forums. Marketing, customer service, 0 points. I'm still on Google! thanks for nothing - just wasting my time, which is worth more than $ 10.

In two weeks time, it'll be 6 years since this topic began. And Dropbox unwillingly response to this request is disappointing. In fact, We're not requesting for free huge storage, but we're ready to pay for the subscription for a lower-tier storage. And Dropbox is ignoring us...
