Can we have the events tab back?

Can we have the events tab back?

Explorer | Level 4

Can we have the events tab back. I have many collaborators and I need to see when and who have changed files.  The recent tab only shows the files that I have changed.

The events tab is essential when tracking changes and going back over old history.  Please add events tab back.

I totally agree, and have no idea why it was taken away.

Not sure if you are aware though, but, although not as nice you can still access the page at www.dropbox.com/events

Hi Mark.  Thanks for the support.  It is easier to click on a tab, as per the previous version, rather than having to entering the URL.  Hopefully the dropbox team bring back the event tab.  I can see a place for both tabs - events and recent - as they both serve different purposes.

Kindly bring back the events log link.  I use that frequently before meetings to discuss staff projects and for timesheet purposes.

I agree. The event page is already here, but you have to write manually.

Please add the link from dropbox home page

I agree, I just spent 10 minutes trying to find it before coming here to see the "solution" of typing the direct url. This makes me worry that they will soon be removing this functionality?

I've been going the rounds with Dropbox on this one, got the same advice:  type out the URL.

I, too, am concerned that this page will go away eventually, yet it is something I use regularly, and the apparent replacement tools are far less useful.

I'd like some straight talk from Dropbox about this, but all I get is doublespeak.  On the one had, the link to the Events page is removed, and yet a customer service rep thanks me for my comments since they are 'constantly looking for ways to make [their] Events page better'.

Really?  Why spend any energy to constantly improve something that is an unlinked page?

Even small children could understand this position makes no sense.  We are not children.  We are paying customers and we deserve the truth.

Have any of you found that Events has gotten weird over the last week or two?

I don't mean just the difficulty of finding it, but once you're there, what's listed is much less than what should be there. And what is there tends to show up in batches of items all happening at exactly the same time, which isn't right either.

This has also screwed up the RSS feed, which is now equally useless.

Maybe Events is being decommissioned entirely, not just hidden.

Still seems fine to me. I make a couple thousand edits to a lot of files each night, and each edit is listed on my Events page.

Dear Dropbox team,

Have you made progress on that? The event tab is very important, I would be grateful if you could restore it.

Thank you
