Client image proofing

Client image proofing

Hi

Perhaps someone has suggested this before.

I'd think many of my colleagues would welcome the idea of a simple client image proofing system as part of paid version of Dropbox. It'd help you convert non paying cutomers to paying customers!

I'd upload low res images to DB and send invitation to clients. They could "star rate" the images and then send in an order.

Lets say they want 10 images in a photo book.

2 images as 8x10 prints and 2 other as 4x6, Canvas, custom print etc.

They'd just say in comment.

This would be a great feature.

I agree. Sounds fab, but, I'm going to be honest and just cant see it happening. Dropbox seems to be moving away from Photos (in all ways) and towards collaboration. It is also almost certainly not going to move into the direction of an e-commerce platform BUT! There may be third party apps out there that could do this?

Hey! I've just started a project that's solve exactly this problem, his name is Picz!

Picz is a tool to help photographers to delivery proof albums to customers select his favorites photos. Picz use your Dropbox account and turn your photo folders in proof albums, protecting them with password and applying a watermark to protect your original file. After selection, Picz move the selected photos to a specific folder, so you can delivery the selected photos to his customer.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot the link: https://piczland.com/
