I really like the ability of the Web DB comments on specific areas where you can draw sqaure around area & then comment accordingly on it. Would be extremly useful, in my opinion, if you could do this from all platforms.
When you go to the Desktop app you can view those comments but you cannot see the sqaure around the area. This defeats the entire purpose as you have now lost the context of the comments. Since you had the sqaure (Web) you would not write comment with prelude of what area you are referring to (like you would if you did not have the square) since you can see the area. Once you jump to the Desktop you are trying to read the comments but have no idea what part is being referred to. This, in turn, results in decreased productivity as you now need to backtrack
It also does not make sense that I can comment on the Web but cannot comment on the Desktop (for specific areas). I should be able to comment from all platforms & be able to comment on the specific area for all platforms
You should be able to see all features of DB on **all** platforms, not lose the options depending what platform you are on. EverNote made this mistake & is (finally) trying to unify all their platforms. Please do not make the same mistake. Before tackling new features slide the current ones to all platforms
