Is there a way to disable comments for all files on a showcase page, or for individual files?

While it’s not currently possible to disable comments on a Showcase, as all individuals who are invited or can access it via the shared link (and have a Dropbox account) can post a comment, I’ve passed your thought as feedback internally, as we’re actively gathering all input from our Forum.

I've just discovered Showcase in Dropbox, and it's awesome. As a teacher, disabling students' comments is a MUST.  Otherwise, it turns into a social commentary about the videos or material in the showcase.

I only recently found Showcase and it's perfect for our online art gallery. However, we wish we could turn off comments in the Showcase. We don't want our art show to turn into a popuarity contest. It seems like it would be an easy fix on Dropbox's end to allow comments to be turned off since that feature is available in Dropbox outside of the Showcase. Thank you.

I also think it is crucial, to be able to turn off commenting in Showcase..  It seems ALL other people who are invited to the showcase receive an email, when someone commented... that is NOT great, when you have shared a showcase project with a customer.. and suddenly, everyone receives the comments given... :(. Should be such an easy feature to disable!
