Dropbox Transfer - Identifying who has downloaded a file

Dropbox Transfer - Identifying who has downloaded a file

It would be great to be able to see who has downloaded a file sent via Transfer, not just the number of times it has been downloaded. That would enable the document creator to better track whether all members have downloaded the file—or with more sensitive files, that feature would alert the creator to any concerning downloads. Thank you for considering this.

Hello

I see I am not the only one with the odd discrepancy and usage. Now, as stated beforehand by other members I can sometimes see completely unknown Person accessing a certain File I know to be a part of a specific group setting that cannot be shared on a whim. This being said, as opposed to some posts here- I can see exactly which file is being accessed to/edited, by whom too, only the person is not a part of the group I have sent to. How is actually the targeted sharing working, I want to be absolutely certain the data I have shared e.g. using Transfer can be accesed only by those whom I have named as receivers
