Dropbox for Windows Desktop Portable

I would like that in addition to the installation version for windows Desktop APP (already present), there was also a portable version (ie without installation).

What do you think?

Just to clarify your initial post a little, is there a way that the website wouldn't cover your needs, as this doesn't require installation?

How would you use a 'portable' version of the app that would be different to how the web works?

I also think it would be nice to have it. The point is that using the website there is no automatic synchronization of the files. I don't have administration rights in my work laptop, so I cannot install the desktop application. When I need to work on a file that I have on Dropbox, and I am at work, I have to download it from the website, work on it locally, and upload it back to the website. A portable application, without needing installation, would allow me to have a Dropbox folder on my work laptop, constantly synchronized.

I totally agree. I searched for alternatives but it seems there is nothing that offers such a service. Really would love a portable app.

I also absolutely need the portable version of dropbox for windows! I really hope you release it as soon as possible...
