Just like the title says. Your files sync locally first, using your LAN.Once locally synced, the file is uploaded to the Dropbox servers.Created a 5.9GB file on your laptop, but you want to get out of the house?Dropbox syncs it over the LAN first, and your always on desk PC continues uploading when you leave the house with your laptop.Dropbox already has an option for LAN syncing (which is awesome), but it’s currently it’s only performed *after* the web upload.I think an additional option switch for syncing on LAN first would be a great feature, especially useful for anyone with slow uploads, large files, and multiple local machines.Even fancier would be to have an option to set a primary/preferred upload machine.
