Linux client for Dropbox Passwords

Linux client for Dropbox Passwords

Would be great to see a Linux client for Dropbox Passwords! Currently, the browser plugin / extension doesn't work on Linux since a desktop app is required.

Even a basic CLI client would work (better than nothing) considering that most Linux users know how to use terminal.

I would love to see a Linux version of the Passwords application.

Echoing comment above. Even a basic CLI client would be awesome.

The password client for linux and a firefox extension will be great, even just a way to use it on a linux browser will be great

Ye this would be a great addition and super useful for those of us who use Linux.

I vote for this feature. Linux Community is always abandoned and forgotten.

Definitely need this!  My hope was to migrate from Keepass, but the lack of Linux support prevents that.

I, too, want to migrate from Keepass.  I have multiple devices running Apple/Microsoft/Linux and have been using Dropbox to store my Keepass database file.  Unfortunately, we get multiple "Case Conflict" database files saved as we have more than one device using Keepass at a time.  Not a good scenario since we don't know which of the files actually has the new or edited password data.

Was hoping the Dropbox Passwords would be the password manager solution for us since Dropbox already runs great on all of our devices.  Was surprised to see them exclude Linux.

I'd be fine with trying to install the Windows version on Linux using Wine, but I cannot find an installation file.  I installed it on one of my Windows laptops and there are no remnants of the installation file.

This "Vote" for this idea seems silly considering they already support Linux with the Dropbox application.  Just do it already.

I just use dropbox by the linux client, I would like to see this facture.
