I would like to see more information about each file when uploading requested files. This would be from the point of view of the person who received an upload request via email.
In order to verify the integrity of a file, the web page should show:
* Number of bytes (KB/MB/GB) uploaded so far (not just percent) for that file
* When finished, show an MD5 or SHA sumcheck for that file.
I just uploaded a very large file that took hours, and the file ended up corrupted. Only the box owner ends up knowing that there was a problem with the upload when trying to open the file. This is a waste of time.
You should also have the ability to sort and remove files that are in queue to be uploaded. And to cancel the upload of the current file. Right now, you can't stop any one file from being uploaded. This is important for moving newly added files to the top of the queue. It can also be used to move smaller or more important files to the top.
A pause and resume function would be nice, too.
It would also be informative to see the upload bandwidth in Mb/s at the bottom -- not just the time remaining. This is useful for seeing if there is a network problem. And it's actually very simple to add programmatically.
The current interface is quite primitive considering Dropbox has been around for a long time and is very popular.
