I have a few very large folders with many sub folders which my whole team need access to but they don't need regularly. It would be great to make an Online only space which doesn't automatically sync to new computers and doesn't sync new sub folders when they are added.
I know we could use the selective sync feature but its up to each user to manage this and they don't stay on top of it and its putting a strain on the network. The selective sync feature is also fragile and the settings can be lost or re-set easily and someone can end up syncing many GB of data by accident.
Having central control of this or at least an opt-in option for a folder would help this. (or even just a space that cant be synced)
