I was really pleased with the new passwords app until it came to securing my list of passwords on my ipad.
There was only the option of using my ipad fingerprint or access 4 digit PIN.
As my fingerprint always fails that just leaves ta simple 4 digit PIN as the sole protection for all my sensitive data, card details & new super-secure passwords.
The whole idea of the password protection app is to allow for highly complex passwords to be used on website to prevent unauthorised access to my accounts.
If my ipad or my phone were stolen all of my accounts could be accessed simply by cracking my basic 4 number PIN... this seems crazy!!!! Even on my pc dropbox only offers the option of a 6 digit PIN.
My current password manager worked by a master password (known only to me) as the first level of security access before any of my passwords can be used.
Surely this could be added to the Dropbox App & Browser Utility?
If we are going to the lengths of creating a different super-secure,20+ character, totally random password for every website we sign into, we should at least be offered the option of using one of these to lock them away!
