This suggestion is regarding the results once the uploading is complete. My suggestion is, once the uploads have finished, for the owner of the account to get an email regarding the results. These results will show a complete list of the files which have been successfully uploaded and the files which have failed, it will also state why these files failed.
It would be SO WONDERFUL if we could get notifications when a single folder is added to. We have photographers that work for our company and they always forget to tell us when they have dropped the photos into our folder and so we go days without knowing we have them when we need them.
This idea is going to need a bit more support.

i have an idea for dropbox for ios, it would be nice if a notification was given when a file is added to your dropbox folder from the dropbox app:), Mobile
Also at the moment, there isn't an option to enable notifications through the android mobile app for when new files are added to your account.
Hey @Sir-martin, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.
You're right, currently there's no option for Android either, but I'll leave this thread open so that we can gather more feedback and votes from others.
In the meantime, if you have any other questions or comments, just give us a shout. Cheers!
Please add an option for iOS mobile notifications of file changes/additions.

Getting emails from "followed" folders is not very timely nor the preferred "push notification" that started this idea thread.
Could DropBox setup the <<https://www.dropbox.com/events>> stream so that one could toggle to only show activity for others only (ie remove 'your' activity from the stream). That would be great.
