It would be great if there was a way to remove access from people that are "team" but not actual members and therefore license holders from the team screen rather than having to look at each person's access and then manually go to each folder/document and remove their access from there. If they are gone, they are gone. Sadly at the moment the only work around is manually trekking through each person 😞

It is not about removing a team member -- that is easy 🙂 It is about removing "People your team works with" We have a lot of these that have multiple folder access and it doesn't seem feasible to remove these in the same way as it is to remove Team Members at a high level - unless I'm missing something 🙂
You can have your Admin log in and go to Insights - there they will see all users who have previously shared folders but are not members - if they go to the manage box on the right and open it, they will see all users listed - they can click on the shared folders for that user and remove each one individually - as previously stated, there is no way to do it for all of the folders at once - however, once this is done, if the admin signs out and signs back in, that user will deleted from Dropbox.
This is the method that I use to remove employees that are no longer employed.
I have the same issue. I removed file access for people one ay a time, but there remain 10 people who still are listed although no files are being shared with them. How can I clear this list?
