As a business that works with a number of freelance graphic designers and other creatives, we are often sent Dropbox links to creative assets that are stored within their own, separate Dropbox accounts.
When we click the link it opens a browser window and we are presented with two options - Save to Dropbox or Download.
If we chose Save to Dropbox, the platform forces you to save the folder that is being shared with you to your default folder. You then have to browse to this folder and manually move it to the correct client folder.
The other alternative is to click Download and then, if you want the files only in the cloud and not stored locally, you have to browse to that folder and turn off the Smart Sync for that folder.
I would like a setting that is identical to the Download files option in the Chrome Browser. When I click Save to Dropbox, instead of the current pop-up which tells me where the folder is going to be saved, provide a pop-up that asks me where I would like to save the folder. I could then quickly select the appropriate client folder. This pop-up could even default to the last option (or the current default option) so that those who always want to save in the same place could continue to do so at the same speed.
A simple update which would provide a far better UX.
