Set the thumbnails for the items in a Showcase

So i am working on creating a showcase containing some of my work for quickly sending to clients.

A thing that i've observed while uploading photos is that for any box, the rule for displaying the thumbnails, is cropping the image in the middle. But i should have the possibility to at least choose the way the thumbnails displays.

Can this be taken into consideration?

I can't seem to be able to vote but I could really use this feature. At the moment, I have clients who are looking at a host of wellness videos where my face does not look 'well' because of how the thumbnails have been set. Although I have temporarily zoomed into one part of the video, each thumbnail is a random wall which is not very enticing to watch. The clicks to my showcase are fantastic but the views are so minimal as it's not very engaging or tempting to click on a photo of a wall. 

Please can this be looked into? It's really affecting the renewal of my contract and I am a brand new business that would really benefit from this change.
