Shared folders in Dropbox Passwords

Shared folders in Dropbox Passwords

Are shared folders ever coming to Dropbox Passwords? Seems like such an essential important thing to have for Teams to be able to work together. Instead of individually sharing.

Thanks for posting here, @Dennis_Zuiderlicht!

Is this what you’d like to achieve perhaps? Or would you like to have a separate folder that you can share with other users and upload your login info there?

Let me know.

Hey @Dennis_Zuiderlicht! Sorry for the nudge.

I was wondering if you had the time to check my previous post.

Apologies, the notification that you commented got drowned in my mailbox.

Not entirely though. Let's say you have a creative agency. With graphic designers, web developers, project managers, copywrites and such. And the company size is about 80 people.

The way we have it arranged now in a different password manager is that for example the web developers have acces to the 'developer' folder. The developer folder contains all password for the websites we make, and the sign in for the CMS.

All graphic designers need access to the websites where we order print work, stock websites, mailchimp accounts of clients and such.

Sharing all those passwords individually for 80 colleagues for over 1000 of websites is just harder to manage and more work. For us it makes a lot of sense to divide passwords into teams. Where you have your own passwords that are private to you, and some are shared in teams.

Having folders in a password manager is the only thing missing for our company to be able to switch to Dropbox. Having everything in one platform is just a nice to have though. 🙂
