Yeah, how about putting back sort by date / sort by name again under the 3 dots on iOS? I'm really angry you decided to remove this feature. Such a simple thing and you thought it was a good idea to take it out? Please put it back.
It wasn't removed. You can still sort by Date Modified. The option is just above the file list on the left side. It will say either Name, Size, Type or Modified.
Yes, it is still there but it's useless. It only sorts the files and not both folders and files at the same time. If I updated files in a folder, it doesn't show up at the top of the list as it does on a computer when sorting by date.
If you’re referring to the desktop app, since the Dropbox folder is just like any other folder on your computer, the ability to sort your content would follow the same manner as within any other folder.
If you’re referring to the mobile app though, currently, when you select to sort your content by Modified, only your files get sorted by date(while folders are in alphabetical order after the files). Nonetheless, I’d be more than happy to pass your thoughts for the dev team to review.

Hey there(@krkhnh), while you can currently sort your Dropbox files by date or name, this is a great feature request; our engineers are always looking for user input when creating the next version of the Dropbox app.

Hi, I have the same request - would love for sort order to be respected by *folders* as well as files in the Dropbox iOS app! Feels kind of buggy with files being sorted correctly but not folders.
