Got an idea for Dropbox? We want to hear it. Our team will review the top voted ideas, so share them here!
In the Dropbox app on Android, you can press the plus button and then press on "take a photo". The photo will then be directly uploaded to that specific directory. This is great for receipts but if you have multiple receipts you have to click the plus button, then take a photo and then do it all over again, and again and again for each receipt. It would be better to have an option to "take photos"This way you could take multiple photos and then they would all be uploaded to the same directory.Other apps that interface with Dropbox have this such uploadcam and project camera so I don't think it would be difficult to implement. Please, please, please implement this.Thank you
Hey there @vishalvij, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
Since this currently isn't a feature, I've moved your request over to our "Share an idea section". This area of the Community allows users to share their ideas and others can back them up and upvote these ideas.
This is a great way for us to track interest on what you'd like to see implemented in Dropbox.
Thanks again for sharing this with us!
This idea is going to need a bit more support.
We've updated the status to encourage more users to back you up!
Also what is more important is the ability to use your zoom and ultrawide lenses in the take a photo option. This will only get more important as more phones have multiples lenses.
Hey @vishalvij, thanks for sharing your thoughts here!
Since this thread will track the feedback for the request to take multiple photos, I'd suggest sharing your idea in a new post here.
This way, others can show their support for your idea too by upvoting it.
I hope this helps!
