On macOS you can set up a "smart folder" which is effectively a search of a given directory tree for files which meet certain criteria. Given the copious metadata macOS has on files, there's often very esoteric things you can set as criteria (whether an image is landscope or portrait, what video codec is used, etc.)
What I don't see available to search on, though, is the Smart-Sync status. It seems like it would be really useful to be able to search for files based on things like "Show me everything in this directory tree that are available Locally". But that metadata (which is clearly available via the checkboxes/clouds) doesn't seem to be exposed to the file-search architecture.
Is there any way to do this? Is this a feature request?
