As of Oct 2018, the Dropbox android app does display the images. However, when there are multiple images in a folder, and we zoom in one image, scrolling even slightly changes the image under focus. It would be great if this "swipe tolerance" be increased. This is a bit annoying. This can be changed to, say, something like one cannot move to next image while zoomed in.
I am not sure if this is the right place for "feature request". If not, I would be glad to be pointed in the right direction.
