Hi
the newest version 99.4.501 keeps restarting and using tons of CPU time, an it does not work (Windows 10)
The old version 84.3.155 works fine for me, but i won't allow me to use it. Is there any way to keep using the old version?

The desktop app will automatically update to the latest version to ensure that it has the latest security updates. You can check out more info about this from here.
It would be best to try using the latest version of the desktop app and we can look into the issue that you're having with the high CPU usage. If you haven't already, please check out this article regarding high CPU usage.
