After reinstalling the desktop app, my files are gone?

Hi, my dropbox had stop syncing and I had to reinstall the dropbox app, and after that, those files that I hade synced with my computer was gone and I cant find them on deleted files. I really need those files, how can i find them?

As a first step, could you also check your events page for more info on what’s occurred to content in your account? Could you also make sure that you’re looking at the relevant Dropbox account by checking the email address connected to the website and the desktop app:

Thank you, sorry - I logged in to wrong account, had actually forgot that I hade two. Is it possible to connect the two account to one?

If it not possible, now is my old dropbox synced with my dropbox app, can you please tell me the easiest way to change to the other account, thank you.

Glad to hear that you were able to resolve your concern, @mammelitwo!
 
Although there isn’t an automatic way that you merge two accounts as outlined in this article
 
However, if you want to access your second account, you’ll have to first unlink the first account from your computer and then relink (by signing in with) the second one. 
 
Please bear in mind that when you link to another account, the desktop app will detect that another Dropbox folder already exists on the computer and give you the option to:
  • Choose another location: If you need your new Dropbox folder to be in an another location rather than your existing folder.
  • Install: If you want your new Dropbox folder to be in the same location as the original one, which will rename it (the existing Dropbox folder) to Dropbox (Old) and create another Dropbox folder for the newly linked account.
