Allowing Local Accounts To Access Dropbox

Allowing Local Accounts To Access Dropbox

Hello, I'm  a teacher who uses dropbox with my students.  I have set up my computers so that I am the admin, main account and have created a local student account.  I installed dropbox using my account but realized the Student account can't access dropbox.  Is there a way to give that Student account access to dropbox in windows10 or do I have to let the students log into my main account?  Thanks!

You could share the folder through the operating system (not Dropbox sharing, but the feature built-in to Windows). Just know that any changes made within the folder will only sync to your account while your account is logged in and Dropbox is running.

Hi @mattman1270,

Is there some problem using a shared folder with your students or shared link?

Hope this gives some direction.
