Android app does not accept my log in

Android app does not accept my log in

Altough every day i uplaod and download files in my account , today for unknown reason the dropbox app does not accept my login advising that my email is not valid.

However doing the same via Chrome in android veything works perfectly tough Chrome version is very old and not supported. I did two times of password change

Does someting happen with the app?

Notice that both Chrome and Dropbox app are outdated. Dropbox is 2.4.2 while Chrome is 56.0.2924.87 in a 9 inch tablet with android 4.2.2 and is a very painful process to update each one of them.  I must uninstall several programs in order to  even install Chrome ....

Hey there @ZachL  - how are you today?

I'm sorry to be the bad news' bearer here, but as your device is not currently meeting our minimum requirements as outlined in the page below, unfortunately, you won't be able to run Dropbox.

Specifically, if you have an Android phone and you want to run the Dropbox app, you need to use:

  • Operating system Android 4.4 (KitKat) or later.

Moreover, you should be able to transfer and download files from dropbox.com using most modern browsers. However, dropbox.com works best on the two most recent versions of:

Note that the current version of Chrome is 74.0.3729.157 for Android devices.

I hope this helped to some extent and please let me know if you have any more questions!
