After installing and re-installing Dropbox I get a blue notice (every time I start my computer) "Dropbox setup" than lower it say "No Internet Connection (which is totally wrong) your computer is currently offline". "Please check your network setting". Below that it says Retry. All this time my dropbox is open in the startup tray and working. When I try to close this notice with the X on the left top side, it asks me if I want to exit dropbox. If I press OK it closes down. I have no idea how to get rid of this annoying notice. Thanks.
Hi @Nora G., thanks for joining the Community!
If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link.
Let me know how it goes!

I am sorry I did not say the obvious, YES I am a basic plan user and I have 3 devices connected. Therefore I do not have the privilege of installing the advanced Dropbox version. So am I doomed to have this annoying notice hunt me forever when I open my computer? I guess I might as well start looking for an alternative solution, sad.
If your current computer is in the list of devices, then you should be able to perform the advanced reinstall, since it would return to 2 devices when you uninstall it.

Thank you Jay. At present, I do not want to delete Dropbox and reinstall it. I worry about my files etc. I will keep your advice and might do it at a later stage.
I understand, if you require any further assistance, I'm a message away!
