I am having the same issue with my corporate laptop running version 87.4.138. I also have 8 PCs in my department that are having the same issue as well. @Jane, any support you can provide would be great!

Thank you!

spjohndro,

Do you have other machines with the same versions not having the issue?

Mike

Tabbertmj,

We have others in my department that are having the same issue, but our system has over 19,000 machines. As I do not work in IT, it is hard for me to say confidently if there are others not having the issue. My apologies.

Hi Jane,

I have a dell latitude and tried all the combinations suggested.  I need help in recovering my Win10 laptop from BSOD over 'Bad pool' error.

Thanks in advance,

Sam

Got the same issue since about 2 weeks. Dropbox support just got the message to me that Symantec Data Loss prevention client is causing the issue.
Can anyone of you confirm that you have installed this client on particular machines to?

Thank you

Patrik

Same here! According to my company's software store, Symantec DLP has been updated a short while ago...

I also have it running. What is strange is others with DLP installed are not having issues.

Even IF it is something with Symantec's DLP that is causing Dropbox to have a BSOD, it's a Dropbox issue, not Symantec, because Dropbox is the one crashing, not Symantec's DLP.  After asking me a bunch of questions over a period of 2 weeks, Dropbox told me sorry, we can't do anything so I'm telling them sorry, you won't get my money anyore.  I'll use another solution that doesn't cause my laptop to crash.  You'd think they would want to keep these corporate clients happy (everyone using Symantec Endpoint Protection and DLP) but I guess not.  They're too busy raking in money from people who use their product casually.  It's just not a business product anymore.
