I uninstalled 86.3.130 and installed the most recent stable version 85.4.155 but it still does the exact same thing (BSOD with Bad Pool Caller note as soon as Dropbox starts to sync).

Someone at work sugested  installing Dell Command Update 3.0 - we have 3 year old Dell desktops. After installing the DCU and Dropbox 85.4.155, Dropbox works again! No BSOD.

Thanks for keeping in touch @dougwenzel & @nchezrony!

@dougwenzel I’ve located your ticket on our system & I’ve made sure to reply back to you there, just so as to submit your report to a higher-level technician in form of a question.

Following, I've also made to create a ticket on our system on your behalf @nchezrony

(Note: I accidentally created a ticket for you as well @teamsiems, which you can ignore, as you mentioned that this has been fixed for you.)

I look forward to hearing back from you via email from this point on!

I’m having a similar issue- BSOD with stop code bad pool caller. Removed Dropbox from startup to allow computer to run without error. However when try to start Dropbox manually, BSOD and bad pool caller stop code returns. I tried reinstalling Dropbox but did not help. I am using a Dell laptop and Windows 10. Help, I have been using Dropbox for years and this is frustrating. Note a few days before the problem occurred, Dropbox loaded a “one-time” permanent update. I remember it took a long time but to run

Hey @NLS123, welcome to the Dropbox Community; I’m here to help!

As your fellow Community members have mentioned that this is most likely happening because they can’t disable their Antivirus, I’ve reached out to you directly to gather a bit more info. Please have a look at your inbox when you have a minute & we’ll take it from there.

Thanks!

Apologies for the slight delay, it looks like I haven't submitted that correctly @NLS123

It should be on the email address connected to your Community profile & I’ve now gone ahead & sent you another message today. Can you have a second look?

Let me know here if you haven't been able to locate that.

Thanks again!

I am having the same issues.  Work PC, Running Symantec, Symantec DLP/EDPA, Bitlocker and Dropbox 87.4.138.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Dropbox software.  I get the Bad Pool Caller BSOD once it starts to sync.  I suspended Bitlocker and still got the BSOD.  I am not able to stop the Symantec services.

Windows 10 Enterprise, 64 bit
