Can I disable notifications about Smart Sync on the desktop app?

We do not need smart sync and installing the desktop app with admin permissions may be a problem for some team members. So can we just kepp using the current desktop app - and turn of the remiders about reinstalling?

There is no way to turn off reminders I'm afraid.

I'm getting continuous Smart Sync Download notifications despite turning off all the dropbox notification buttons I can find. This is distracting and I'd love to turn it off. Any suggestions?

This is NOT SOLVED.

 

Constant sync notifications - no way to turn off.

Also affecting me on Mojave. I'm having the issue noted here, where I have two copies of Dropbox in my Notifications settings. I'm currently reinstalling Dropbox, we'll have to see how that goes.
