with using the Dropbox Desktop app, can you link files into Adobe indesign or do you need a 3rd party extention to do that?
Hello @ohiodoc, thanks for reaching out to us.
I'd be more than happy to help, I'll just need more info on what you're trying to achieve.
For example, are you trying to export the files directly from the desktop app into the third party app?
Any additional details would be very helpful. Cheers!

I want to be able to insert images into indesign so the links wont be broken if the indesign file is openend on different computers. Like if you was working on a server.
Ah, I see! Thanks for clarifying that for me, @ohiodoc.
Although I don't know much about Indesign and how it would work, I'd assume that the images in question would have to be in your Indesign folder inside the Dropbox folder.
I did find though that if you move a document to another folder or disk, you have to be sure that you also move the linked graphics files that are not stored inside the document.
You can find more info about this here.
In any case, I'll leave this thread open in case any other users have any ideas or suggestions to give you.
If anything else pops up, just give me a shout. Cheers!
