Instead of haveing the DB home folder in:
/Users/<name>
I want to locate it in:
/Users/Shared
Can I do that?
thx
Solved! Go to Solution.
That should be all you need to do! It will move the folder from the normal location to the new location.

Hi @brains, it should be possible to do so using the Dropbox desktop application to move the folder to wherever you wish to move it.
However, I wouldn’t recommend moving it to shared folder, since if other uses on your computer can access and edit the files in the folder, this could result in conflicted copies, unknown permission issues, and even deleted files.
I hope this info helps!

Thanks for the quick reply.
It is just an organisational thing, really. There is only one user on the machine.
So DB would have no problem with that? I just use the desktop app to create/point to the new folder as /Users/Shared/Dropbox
Is that right?
