Can I stop the desktop app from starting automatically when I start up my computer?

You can disable this setting within the desktop app preferences, so that the app doesn't start automatically on system start up and you can instead launch the app manually. To do this you can:
- Click the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar.
- Click the profile pic/initials icon in the top right corner of the small window.
- Choose "Preferences..." from the menu.
- From the "General" tab, uncheck the option "Start Dropbox on system startup".
