Can't Download Dropbox

Can't Download Dropbox

Geoffrey23
Explorer | Level 3

So I accidentally uploaded all my files from my pc to dropbox and I was looking to unlink my account so that my files won't be in dropbox but there were no options for that. Since I couldn't find anything, I ended up uninstalling the software from my pc which ended up deleting my downloads, documents, and desktop tab from my file explorer. Now when I try to reinstall dropbox to recover my files it kept saying Failed Download Error. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey @Geoffrey23, welcome to our Community!

Firstly, it looks like you enabled the computer backup feature on your Dropbox application.

Uninstalling it won't stop this, you'll actually need to turn off the feature, so it was great thinking to reinstall the application.

About the error though, can you please clear your browser's cache, restart the computer and try to reinstall it again from here?

Let me know how it goes!
