Can't enable Smart Sync

Can't enable Smart Sync

I've tried everything I can find on these boards...

But I can't get Smart Sync going on my new laptop.

When I click the "Open Preferences" button in the "Allow Dropbox in Preferences" panel, I do not get the option to "Allow" anything. The button does not appear. Neither does the message "System software from developer...was blocked...
It's a dead-end. 

Please advise.

Try un-installing and then re-installing the Dropbox App. I hope this helps!
