Can't open the desktop application: Mac OS Big Sur

Hi everyone, I can't open the Dropbox desktop application, which is super frustrating because that's the only way I know of to use selective sync. I've tried re-installing the app, but nothing works. Whenever I try to open it, it just shows me the Finder window with all my Dropbox folders. 

 

Please help!

Hey @Jessie6, and welcome to our Community!

Are you clicking on the little Dropbox icon, on the top right of your screen, in your menu bar?

Have you gone through these steps, to try set up your selective sync?

If you've ensured that there's no antivirus or firewall that could be causing issues, could you please try an advanced reinstall?
