I installed Dropbox, and by mistake activated the automatic computer backup.
I also used the default location of the Dropbox folder.
I reinstalled Dropbox without automatic computer backup and chose the location of the Dropbox folder to drive "d:" I could still not remove the My PC (LENOVO-LA7NO) folder, and the old default Dropbox folder (C:\Users\ptaa\Dropbox) keeps reappearing after deletion.
So, I uninstalled Dropbox completely again. Rebooted, but I still can not remove My PC (LENOVO-LA7NO). Also, the Dropbox folder still reappears after deleting it. To me, this is very strange behavior.
If I were you, I'd try disabling the Computer Backup feature first. Once you do, you can either move the Downloads, Desktop, Documents folders back to their original path or delete the "My PC" folder.
After that, you can uninstall our desktop app, delete all traces of the Dropbox folder and start fresh. Or you can choose to move the path of your existing Dropbox folder, while the app is still installed.
Can you try, and let me know if you have any questions along the way?
