I have been using Dropbox for a few years now with no major issues and have a business account. It stopped working yesterday. It happened after I tried to move it to a different folder (to C drive) on my laptop.
Tried reinstalling but install failes/aborts after trying for a long time.
Tried uninstalling but that also fails/aborts after trying for over an hour. Followed all solutions I found online including clearing registry entries but it did not make any difference.
Is there anything else I could try?

The advanced uninstall was also unsuccessful. There was no error showing after install or uninstall failed. Just 'install failed/aborted' and uninstall was hanging for many hours (progress bar stopped halfway and stayed there not moving) until I had to kill the process from the Task Manager.
I caused a major issue now by removing the Dropbox entries from the Registry. It looks like I am totally stuck. Would system restore help to restore the Registry settings? Running it right now.
