Cannot connect zoom to Dropbox on my ipad

Hi,

I can access my Dropbox account from zoom on my iPhone ( click and it opens). However, I cannot access my Dropbox via zoom using my iPad using the same account, help would be appreciated.

Hi @Sailor64, thanks for messaging today!

 

I’d like to ask a few questions to investigate this matter further:

  • Could you clarify exactly what error message you’re getting, if any, when you open Dropbox via Zoom?
  • Does it show up as connected to Dropbox in the Zoom settings?
  • Have you updated both apps?

Hi Jay,

 

On my iPhone when I go from zoom to Dropbox, it automatically signing me and I can use the platform.


when I try the same procedure from my iPad, I get the same page it doesn't sign in. Or when I click to sign in the same page refreshes but no access.E96262BB-7695-447A-BF1A-B1AA55B10952.jpeg

Have you tried installing the Zoom app itself instead of accessing it via the browser?

This is happening to me for a log time now. I have Zoom app installed and also Dropbox app installed. It used to work just fine but after one update, it started this glitch. I go to share then select Dropbox. That takes me to the screen sailor64 was showing. It just opens up the browser with the dropbox sign in page and then if I click to sign in, nothing happens. I'm wondering when this bug is going to be fixed. It's been too long like this and very incovenient.

Are you running the latest version of the Dropbox and Zoom apps by any chance?

 

Do you also run into this issue regardless of whether you are connected to WiFi or cellular data?
