When I double click the dropbox icon in applications, a pop up states the dropbox is no longer open. I have tried to reinstall/ update dropbox which does not work and the small icon in the tab bar has disappeared. I can access my files when logging into dropbox website but the native desktop application and synching has stopped. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Firstly, to understand the entire situation a little better, can you let me know the current OS version of your computer that’s having this issue and check that it meets our system requirements listed here.
Also, please can you send me a screenshot of the error message that you receive when trying to open the desktop app. If there is a blue hyperlink in the dialog box, please click this and send the full error log that it shows in your reply.
