Cant download and/or install newest version

New member | Level 2

I am using Ubuntu 18.10

I have downloaded the version thats available on the website for Ubuntu and am installing it via the software center, when I come to the part when it is time to sign in it says that I am using an old version of Dropbox and should download a new one.

As far as I am aware of, there is no newer version.

What to do?

No, none of the solutions helped so I did another fresh install of Ubuntu 18.10 but I chose a legacy install instead of UEFI and after that everything is now running as smooth as ever.

Hey there @Linuxusersweden - sorry to hear that!

Could you perform an advanced re-install (making sure you meet all of our minimum requirements) and use our offline installer directly during this process?

Here's the link to our offline installer:

Keep me posted on your progress please and should your issue persist, please attach a screenshot in your next response.
