I have folder on my laptop that holds all my selective sync files.....it only lists what is there
I just learned that Smart sync does the same thing, but smart sync lists all of my files, even those that are in the cloud.
how do I change my selectively synced files to smart sync files without deleting all and starting over?
Hey @Vaughn B.3, thanks for reaching out to us here!
To sync your selectively synced files as "online only", I'd first suggest changing the option in the desktop app preferences on how to sync new files. You can do this by:
After you've applied this, you can then reselect the folders within the selective sync settings, and this will sync the placeholders for your online only files.
Let me know if you have any other questions about this!
