Dropbox installs & integrations

I recently had to follow the guidelines to uninstall and reinstall Dropbox for Win 10. Because I couldn't access my files through the app.Soon as I did it I kept getting repeated DB notifications saying, This file is online only. To access it you first have to upload it to dropbox. The reason why this notification is completely stupid... If it's online only it's already on Dropbox.com!... It's already uploaded to dropbox, and I DON'T have to upload it to DB.And the notifications are completely distracting making it impossible to concentrate on anything.
Hey @Nostradooda, thanks for reaching out to us!
If you're seeing a grey icon with a white cloud on your files, it means that they are Smart Synced as online-only.
In other words, although these files are synced to your account, they aren't fully downloaded to your computer to save hard drive space.
You can download them fully to be able to access them by right-clicking, going to Smart Sync option, and selecting the local.
You can find more info about Smart Sync here.
If you're still having trouble with this though, don't hesitate to get back to me with any additional info and screenshots (without any personal details). Thanks!
